BIBLE STUDY QUESTIONS
LESSON 3

These Bible study questions were created to provide assistance to those who wish to study God’s will directly from the Bible.  The answers are quite clear, and they prove that we can have the same understanding as the apostles had by reading what they wrote (Ephesians 3:4).  We challenge you to open your Bible and establish the truth.  Please answer each question with a Yes or No based upon the information obtained from studying the verses from God’s Word.

ON LOVE AND OBEDIENCE

  1. Matthew 22:37-38 – Must we love God with all our hearts to be saved?
  1. 1 John 5:3-4 – Will loving God produce a definite change in our lives?

Did Jesus say doing the will of God could save you?
Will some who have been sincere in their religious practices be lost because the practices were not according to the will of God?
  1. Hebrews 5:8-9 –
Is Jesus the author of eternal salvation even to those who do not obey Him?
Is it your understanding that you must obey Him to be saved?

  1. 2 Corinthians 7:10, Matthew 3:8 – Is genuine repentance more than being sorry?
Can being truly sorry before God for sin lead to repentance?
  1. Matthew 10:32-33 – If you believe and repent but will not confess Jesus before men (that is be willing to state your belief that He is the Son of God), can you be saved?
